- Soak green gram for 8 hrs. Urad dal and rice for 2hrs.
- Now take it in mixi jar and grind it to batter. Not too thick not too runny rest it for 15-20 min..
- Now take takda pan. Put it on flame and add some oil. When oil gets heated add cumin, mustard seeds and let them crackel. Then add curry leaves.
- Add this tadka into batter. Now add chopped onion, tomato and coriander and mix it well..
- Take appam patra heat it up and grease it well with oil. Once it gets heated up put the batter into moulds and put lid..
- Now flip it and let it cook from other side too..
- Serve hot with coconut or peanut chutney..
- Note: if you want it spicy you can add green chillies during grinding..
