Instructions to make Dahi vada:

  1. Soak the urad dal overnight and drain them..
  2. Grind the urad dal and mix it with green chilli, soda bi curb, salt,curry leaves..
  3. Then make vada and fry them in batches till crisp and golden..
  4. Soak the vadas in water and let them soak for 18-20 minutes. Press each soaked vada into your palms to remove water..
  5. Beat the chilled sour curd with salt, sugar, cumin powder, black salt powder, mango powder. And put the vadas into the curd mixture..
  6. Now the time for garnishing. Garnish with tamarind chutney, mint Coriander chutney, sev, pomegranate, chaat masala, coriander leaves..
